I'm kicking myself for missing out on two really great "Cooking With Chef Huong" specials for Lee Loses Big. After visiting our new favorite grocery store, Village Foods, we plundered quite a few healthy and natural food selections, including a great deal on some whole wheat flour that we made immediate plans to put into motion. Check out today's meals:
Breakfast - Garden Burger Sausage patties, organic eggs, and handmade whole wheat biscuits.
Lunch - Sandwiches made with almond butter and apple butter on wheat bread, with carrots and grapes.
Dinner - A pizza with handmade whole wheat dough, turkey pepperoni, natural pizza sauce, nonfat cheddar cheese, and spinach.
We also purchased a breadmaker today, and right at this moment we have a loaf of whole wheat brewing away. It's a good day for healthy eating.
